Red Dead Redemption 2 doesn't look any worse on the PS4 Pro than the Xbox One. I have a Pro and it looks good. But then again I play in 1080p. Except this time, The Last of Us II is not going to close the PS4 ball like the 1st TLOU closed the PS3 ball, apparently. We still don't have any dates for Dreams or Ghost of Tsushima, and I can't see them release before February 2020.
I'm just hoping they haven't been turned into launch PS5 games. I mean, they could be, with BC, but as PS4 games, as intended.

They forgot to mention the lack of 60 Hz modes for us european gamers back then, resulting in games on the old continent having 20% of their image size cropped, in addition to running 20% slower than their NTSC-US & NTSC-J counterparts. And we paid a lot more for our games than the Japanese, and even the Americans did. We still do actually, but back then with the aforementioned problem, this made playing VG back in the days nothing short of an absolute gyp for gamers in Europe.

It's true. Even though the SNES was way (and I mean way way) more powerful than the Megadrive/Genesis, Sega got the best deal with Virgin Interactive and their team of animators pulled off something no one thought possible on that system, I remember it very well. Capcom's game for the SNES was alright, but didn't hold a candle to the version Sega got.

If by "FF12-2 and 3" you mean FF XIII-2 and 3, then I agree. 'cause you know, there is no such thing as FF12-2 or FF12-3. And FF XII was actually a pretty good FF in my opinion. But FF X-2 was also a piece of trash. And coming to think of it, FF X wasn't a very good FF either...
That remastered soundtrack of yore, dammit. It makes me want this even further, in spite of Square-Enix's questionable decision to sell us the game in parts. When will the other parts be available to make it the WHOLE GAME, though.

I don't get why devs don't just put an option for gamers to host online games on their console. Warhawk did this, we could use our PS3 as a server. Why won't devs just issue an update for their game to do the same before pulling the plug on the servers? How difficult can it be?

I'd like that The Order 1886 Blackwater Edition they show on a linked thread on that website, though. I'll never understand how that game never got a sequel. It's so unfair, esp. now that the other, directly competing system is seeing the release of yet another sequel to its own flagship series of third-person shooters with cover mechanics...
Too bad the remastered version on consoles features an anti-aliasing routine that results in blurred backgrounds...again *sigh*
How much does a PC capable of running that Switch game at a constant 60fps cost though? Or a PC that's capable of running MGS4 in 4K @ 60fps? I'm seriously interested, but if it costs anywhere to 2k I'm going to have to pass for the foreseeable future...
